As retailers offer an ever-increasing number of private label products, they are becoming more dependent on suppliers’ cost cutting initiatives as a means of sustaining the market pressure.

WR-ICON developed a model, which can be implemented with retail groups on a global level to tackle cost optimization, driven in short term by product design and in medium term on key suppliers conversion costs.

The model particularly tackles the critical interface between retailer and supplier, but also the retail group’s internal inefficiencies.
